NMCI DELEGATES AT 27TH MFPI CONFAB
Headed by no less than GENESIS BOLAURO, NMCI Secretary as well as being the MFPI Corporate
Secreatary at the same time, several other active NMCI members also made it to participate in the latest 27th MFPI
Congress & Climb 2006 held in Ilocos Norte last summer..
Expenses for the official trip to attend MFPI events have been sponsored by the NMCI, a
benefit provided by the Club for its members to see the Philippines. Minutes of the proceedings of the 2006 MFPI
Presidents' Meeting may be viewed here.

For the initial maiden launching of this Official Site,
the Club believes that the first mountain to be highlighted will be one from its own "backyard", one of the best- if not the
best as a destination for climbing, no other than our own Mt. Canlaon(2,465-m)- one of the country's
most active volcanic peaks in the highlands of north-central Negros, and more popularly known as the Mt. Kanlaon Natural Park.
